Educational Career
Hema Malini wanted to become a dancer because of her interest in the dance since childhood. She took the classes in the Andhra Mahila Sabha in Chennai and later, she joined Delhi Tamil Education Association Sr. Sec. School in the capital city, Delhi.
She was a good student and liked the History subject too much. Being more interested in the dance acting, she left her studies in the middle and began a career in the dancing. She started to dance in the regional movie in 1961.
Professional Career
Being a film producer, her mother wanted her to become an actress. But Hema could not get the success as an actress in South Indian Cinema. However, she continued her career as a dancer.
In 1968, she started influencing debut in Sapno ka Saudagar with Raj Kapoor. She was new in the film industry, so every director wanted to take in their movies. So, her film journey had started.
In her film career journey, Hema Malini worked with every famous actor of her time.
She acted in 15 movies with Superstar Rajesh Khanna also performed with Shashi Kapoor, Shammi Kapoor, Sanjeev Kumar, Dev Anand, Jeetendra, Amitabh Bachchan, and other famous actors and became the highest-paid actresses in the film industry in 4 years.
After her debut and did acting in over 155 films including tum Haseen Main Jawaan, Sholay, Lal Patthar, Gora Aur Kala, Dharmatma, Sanyasi, Satte Pe Satta, Andaaz, Naseeb, Dream Girl, Trishul, Suraag, Kranti, Andha Kanoon, and Sitapur Ki Geeta.
