Her ways to films way not so long. She was spotted by an Indian Producer on the website of Miss Teen World. Later, she was told to do an audition, and touchwood she has been selected for the female lead role opposite to Arya without even having any idea of acting  for the Tamil movie “Madraspattinam.”

Though the backdrop of the movie was based on a 1947 story between Britishers and Indians.  Subsequently, the film did well both critically and commercially, fetching her a lot of positive reviews from reporters and fans. So finally, her debut movie succeeded which was directed by A.L Vijay and released in 2010.

After earning a good fan base ad love from audiences, she signed Gautham Vasudev Menon’s movie “Ekk Deewana Tha” starring alongside Prateik Babbar. It was a Hindi movie along with her debutant performance in Bollywood. This movie was the remake of “Vannaithaandi Varuvaaya” which was directed by the same director.

She also enacted with Thalaphathy Vijay alongside Samantha Akkineni playing a Malayali teacher in the Atlee section for the movie “Their” which was released in 2016. This movie was one of the biggest blockbusters in the Tamil Industry and also one of the most profitable ones of all time.

Succeeding to this year she signed her Hollywood first movie playing a Saturn girl aka Imra Ardeen  in the series of “Supergirl.” Despite being a television series, the series was based on the DC characters and produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros Productions. She also signed the “Gritty” which is a BBC drama series and much is not known about this.

Finally, in the year 2018, she did “The Villian” which was directed by Prem a Kannada movie alongside Shiva Rajkumar and Sundeep. With this movie, she completed her cycle of touching all the industries. Her last movie was “Robo 2.0” collaborating again with Shankar and Akshay Kumar, but working first time with superstar Rajinikanth.

Here her role was actually of an andro-humanoid robot.
